Aupson Pokhrel is a young corporate and legal consultant who advises international companies, INGOs, institutions, and SMEs on business setup, compliance, cross-border transactions, and regulatory matters in Nepal. His work spans diverse industries, including manufacturing, technology, pharmaceuticals, hospitality, education, finance, HR services, marketing, and infrastructure. He currently acts as a Leading Corporate Legal Advisor in Nepal.

He has advised Aurea Internacional, Aupia Agribusiness, Go Dubai, and various foreign investors on Nepal’s statutory requirements, market entry frameworks, and cross-border legal matters. His advisory work also includes supporting a Danish company in negotiating contractual arrangements with a cybersecurity firm, and guiding a Sri Lankan company on joint ventures and international transactions.

Aupson, as a corporate legal advisor, has been involved in high-value FDI assignments, including advising and obtaining FDI approval for an Indian tech platform, supporting a multi-million-dollar infrastructure project entering Nepal through a joint venture, and consulting over 50 international clients on FDI procedures. He has helped a Dubai-based company incorporate through FDI and assisted multiple foreign investors from various countries in navigating Nepal’s investment laws.

His sectoral expertise includes pharmaceuticals, where he helped register Sarva Pharmaceuticals in Nepal, advised a Chinese pharmaceutical company on trademark enforcement, and provided a legal opinion to a Chinese law firm on Drug and Drug Administration (DDA) matters. He has also advised a Singaporean company on acquiring a microfinance institution in Nepal and conducted the legal due diligence for the acquisition of an educational institution, overseeing all compliance and contractual requirements.
